Rocks and Candy
Cameron, Rhett and Riley played at the park today. Well...Riley kind of just chilled. Rhett is a year older than Cameron and today I noticed a huge difference between the ages 2 and 3. They have a lot of fun, and giggle and laugh a ton together, but sometimes I feel bad for Rhett because every once in a while Cameron's age catches up to him! Like today, Rhett asked Cameron "What's your favorite animal, Cameron?" Cameron knows how to point out and make the noises of many many animals, but the question was just over his head I guess...and he just didn't answer. Rhett asked again "CAMERON, I SAID what's your favorite ANIMAL??" Cameron looked back at Rhett and said "FAVORITE ANIMAL!!" really loud and started cracking up. Rhett just gave up and didn't ask again. With a little help, Cameron finally answered Rhett's question. After that, Rhett and Cameron lined up a bunch of rocks that they found, and I gave them both a piece of candy. Funny how rocks and candy communicates perfectly to any age! I'll make sure to always have some on hand when they play together! Here's a couple pictures of Cameron and Rhett.

This cracked me up. First of all that's Rhett's favorite quesiton to anyone, any age. Second I can just picture my son asking a second time with a bit more passion, third I love the way Cameron repeats everything and fourth I love even more how he cracks up so easily. That's a good trait to have.
